Scraping the Color From Racism

For decades, Republicans and conservatives have tried to point out to the black community that Democrats and liberals were taking them for granted.  The blind devotion to the Democrat Party, they were told, has done nothing to improve their lot.  Adopting Liberal politics has not only kept African-Americans from advancing, but those politics are in conflict with traditional values and religious beliefs.

It appears that is changing.

“They’re not pushing a family agenda.  They’re pushing a neo-liberal agenda!”

Each time the GOP tried to appeal to black voters, the party was laughed at and  demonized as “racist.”  Black conservatives were slandered as “Uncle Toms” or “Oreos” – black on the outside, white on the inside.

The old proverb touted by those on the right of “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime” was ignored if not mocked.  Dems/Libs promoted gifts – or promises of gifts – as an alternative to earning.  From affirmative action to free cell phones, the Left has worked to buy off minorities in order to keep them on the plantation.  And every time someone challenged that approach, the cry of “racist” went up loudly and widely across the main stream media.

Never has this been more evident or prevalent than during the Barack Obama administration.  Every conflict with his policies, every difference of opinion was shouted down with charges of racism.

The black community has had enough of liberal hypocrisy and lies.  A group of black community leaders from Chicago have made a video in which they not only express their frustrations with traditional black “leaders” and the Democrat Party, but, in doing so, they vaporize the conventional recognition of the word “racist.”

“Everything that’s happening in our community, it’s black leadership doing this.”

The video could be a game-changer.  Hopefully, it will spread and African-Americans will realize that Condolezza Rice, Clarence Thomas, Tim Scott, Thomas Sowell, Herman Cain, Allen West, Michael Steele, Mia Love, Walter Williams and scores of other black Republicans/conservatives are more like them than are the Al Sharptons and Shelia Jackson Lees.

“Black leadership is abusing us.  The Democratic Party is abusing us.”

The men who made this video, men from Barack Obama’s Chicago, have turned the word racism on its ugly head.  What they point out – what they prove – is that racism comes not from those who want people to work for a living; not from people who want a level playing field for everyone; not from people who believe that abortion is wrong and shouldn’t be used for birth control and not from people who believe jobs don’t have a color.  Racism comes from those who pat you on the back and tell you you’re a victim while preying on you to maintain power.

“To Hell with [Obama’s) minimum wage raise.  We don’t have jobs!  A minimum wage raise for what?”

We shouldn’t expect this video to get any airplay or recognition by the main stream media.  To do so would be to admit their own complicity in being the true racists in American society and reveal the conspiracy by the Left to keep African-Americans hostage.
